Privacy Policy

Rabiya is an early-stage English coaching product. This policy explains the information the service is designed to handle and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We may collect your email address and sign-in provider details, profile photo and nickname, language and learning preferences, English level, transcripts and feedback from practice, subscription status, product interactions, and basic device and diagnostic information.

How we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, personalise practice, produce feedback, remember your progress, verify beta and subscription access, improve reliability, measure privacy-safe product usage, prevent abuse, and communicate essential service updates.

Service providers

Rabiya uses Supabase for authentication, application data, and profile-photo storage; Vercel for web hosting; Apple and Google for sign-in; Google Cloud (Gemini / Vertex AI and speech services) for voice conversations and feedback; Polar for current web billing; Stripe for legacy web subscriptions; and Apple or Google Play for native subscription billing. These providers also process the network and technical information needed to operate their services.

AI and voice data

AI practice sends your voice or messages, relevant learning preferences, nickname, and selected conversation history or learning memory to Google to generate replies and feedback. Current live audio is streamed through Rabiya's relay without a permanent raw recording in the application database. Transcripts, corrections, learning memory, and usage totals are stored with your account. Earlier versions supported stored speaking samples. Do not submit another person's voice without permission or include sensitive information in practice.

Permission and stored history

On iPhone, Rabiya asks for permission before AI practice and separately asks for microphone access when you use voice. You can withdraw future AI-processing permission in Settings. Withdrawing permission does not erase existing history; account deletion removes the account-linked application records and uploaded files. Provider logs, backups, and records held independently by payment or identity providers are subject to their own retention requirements.

Product analytics

We record limited events such as app opens, practice starts and completions, purchase verification, permission denial, and technical failures. These events are linked to your account identifier. The analytics endpoint rejects transcript, audio, email, name, prompt, and other personal-content properties. Sign-in SDKs may also collect technical usage and device information as described by their providers.

Your choices

You can change your nickname, profile photo, language, appearance, and coach voice in the product. You can permanently delete your account from Profile settings or contact privacy@rabiya.app. Deleting a Rabiya account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; those subscriptions must be canceled in the relevant store.
